Good, I am learning some ways that I can minimize my impact on the earth.

I kept track of all the items I threw away this week that were headed to the landfill because I was unable to recycle them or compost them.  Most of what I threw away were tissues and paper towels.   That makes me think that I should research better ways to dispose of the tissues or if I should start using handkerchiefs again.  I have started...

The class has helped me to increase my awareness of my personal actions and how they affect the environment.  This is leading me to take actions that are more earth friendly.

Wanting to do 2in1, I walked to the local hardware store to buy a new mechanism for a bathroom faucet, and on the way picked up trash.  I found so many plastic bottles, cans, masks, wipes and McD drink cups that I had to make a detour to the local park to empty my bag which I then filled again on the way home.  Lots of people said hi and were...

WAPO's Climate 202 touches on all political and judicial concerns around all aspects of climate change.

We began subscribing to the Washinton Post daily Climate 202 articles via email.  It is free. We receive climate news that is not standard fair. It is global information but covers in depth information about North America and it's exposures.  

We will attend a meeting at the Cincinnati Nature Center on the subject of Fields on Fire, pertaining to the practice of burning off the fields.

Several of us have been watching documentaries to learn more about issues that concern us. We are remodeling our house. We replaced our old toilets with water saving bank technology. We replaced our appliances, washer, dishwasher, refrigerator, with energy efficient replacements.
