A Call to Sustainability
Learn About Local Issues
I will find out what local sustainability issues are most urgent in my region, including both social and environmental justice concerns.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.

Gary Burkhart 3/13/2020 7:42 PMThis concludes the first week of expanded recycling opportunities for the clients, in the buildings I’m responsible for maintaining, and the results look promising. I added eight more recycling areas, and calculated the distance to the nearest recycling area, and all but 3 clients has a recycling opportunity within 30 feet of their offices.
The month prior to the rollout, we averaged 7 bags of recycled materials, this week we had 11 bags for recycling.
Another side note, We averaged 40 bags of trash destined for the landfill, and this week we only had 33 bags of trash. -
