This concludes the first week of expanded recycling opportunities for the clients, in the buildings I’m responsible for maintaining, and the results look promising. I added eight more recycling areas, and calculated the distance to the nearest recycling area, and all but 3 clients has a recycling opportunity within 30 feet of their offices.
The month prior to the rollout, we averaged 7 bags  of recycled materials, this week we had 11 bags for recycling.
Another side note, We averaged 40 bags of trash destined for the landfill, and this week we only had 33 bags of trash.

Received and put in use 4 new single stream recycling containers  Friday evening . To my surprise all containers were halfway full when I reported to work this evening. So I checked the containers that I put in the conference rooms 10 days ago and 2 of the 4 containers needed emptying

Making progress with my recycling restructuring in my work area. My management is fully supporting my plans. The office management also are enthusiastically supporting me as well. We have established where we will place more recycle containers. We also have decided to reuse instead some older recycle containers simply but changing the signage.
