I know that the fall eco-challenge is coming up and since no one else is on my team anymore, i'm going to close out this challenge and get ready for the upcoming one; i was doing simultaneous challenges throughout this one and it proved to not be a good idea; i plan on devoting my time and attention to the upcoming challenge, along with facilitating another NWEI course at Recycle Brevard - job well done to all my fellow challenge goers throughout the world

Just returned from a week's vacation visiting family where there is no cell service or internet service.  It was wonderful!

I've been neglecting my challenges this past week or so, but I've been working in the garden a lot and enjoying connecting with the earth, which is what it's all about; It's something I need more because of all the negativity floating around me; connecting with the earth always brings me a strong sense of purpose.  But, I digress...............

    • Hi Chris, thanks for sharing. In the simplest of terms, connecting with the Earth is really what this is all about. Don't let the actions become stressful - have fun with them! Try to keep it manageable by weaving them into your week. Keep it up!

just finished watching Food Matters again; i'd seen it when it first came out; i think that watching some of these types of videos periodically does me a lot of good

I'm still plugging away...........my last three challenges are more difficult for me because i have to actually do them for 7 days; i do them a lot of the time, with the exception of the meal planning, but 7 days seems to be eluding me, but I'm still trying which is what counts.  Have an amazing day all my NWEI friends.

Wow - it's June already.  I hope that everyone is doing well on their respective challenges.  Time for us to all plant a vegetable garden to make ourselves more sustainable.

I'm working on the 7 day processed foods challenge and have been  unsuccessful at it, but I keep plugging away and am confident that between now and a day in the not too distant future i'll make it; that's why they call them challenges..........

    • Absolutely! It's important to trust the process and allow yourself to have hiccups as you are learning. That is how an idea becomes a habit. If you stick with it, it will most likely become second nature to you! Thank you for sharing, Chris.
