Denise Terrazas 11/08/2019 8:49 PMWithin my community I helped around my neighborhood, we have a man living across from my house. And he is always alone and lives alone, he is very sweet he brings my family baked goods and fresh vegetables. And for my community thing was to sit with someone for lunch or invite over someone for dinner. My idea was to invite our neighbor over for dinner and which made it more community like that it wasnt just me it was my whole family that helped out with dinner and had dinner with. which made it more better cause im sure he does not have a family and he really did appercitae that we did that for him and it made us feel better. -
Denise Terrazas 11/07/2019 2:43 PMHow livable is my community? Well I looked up my livable score and received a score of 54, which is that bad. The high point of my score is 70 which is environment because of the clean air and water we have. The low point was 47 which is opportunity because of income inequality 0.69 jobs per person which would be economic opportunity. My thoughts were not really shocking because the neighborhood is new and I'm sure that realtors want it to be a good community so that they can sell houses. Also our house or all the houses use solar panels which helps a lot with the environment. -
Denise Terrazas 8/20/2019 10:15 PMOne thing I would like to gain from is course is how to maintain a sustainable life. As in learning more things can change climate change in my daily life. This is why because our Earth temperature has increased drastically in time. One goal I would like to learn is how to use less trash more as in plastic, because all the plastic we are using all around the world we are throwing away it goes all into our oceans and is affecting our sea animals.
I want to contribute to my team by always giving them my full attention whenever they are specking or presenting something. one other thing I want to contribute to my team is new ideas on having a sustainable life, as in finding new ways to lower our planets temperature for our next future generation. Being able to do things that inspire other people can really change the world if we all communicate with each other important issues we can make a difference.
