This week I went to the store on my bike for some quick groceries. It was about 3 miles of biking but it was luckily a nice day out to do so, and saved needing to use fuel to go to the store for just a few things.

Because the session was themed on water, I was recommended to watch The Story of Bottled Water.  The water I have always drank at home has been either fridge tap water, or filtered tap water, so it is good to know that I have no been contributing to plastic bottle waste, where I think the only times I've used plastic bottled water is when on long trips or camping with family. But even then we bring the empty bottles with us and recycle them when we can..

Earlier this week, I went with my family on a 4-5 mile walk around the neighborhood where we walked up the street from our houses to where a trail was, and we walked along the trail for a while. It was not a trail I've seen before but it apparently goes through the areas around neighborhoods for quite a while. Makes me wonder what other trails could be walked around me as well.

Watched a food based documentary, Food inc. which went into a very critical look into the industrialized, factory based, food industry, and the dangers it creates.

This week, our family planned out our meals for each day of the week using cook-at-home food delivery services. With these we are given only the ingredients we need for the meals with enough to feed the whole family and/or have leftovers for another night, or reusing leftover parts of a meal with another. We will be doing this for convinces and not having to leave to the store as often as well.
