Hello there! I'm Leba Shleifer, a 22-year-old married woman with a baby on the way. As I stand at this pivotal moment in my life, I've decided it's time to make some changes. This blog will serve as my digital diary, documenting my journey towards a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing my experiences and insights along the way.

Up until now, my efforts to lead a sustainable life have been somewhat limited. In my community of Far Rockaway, I dutifully follow the required recycling guidelines, ensuring that our household waste is disposed of responsibly. Additionally, I've taken a significant step in reducing my carbon footprint by driving a fully electric vehicle. While these actions have been important initial steps, I'm eager to explore and implement more sustainable practices in my everyday life.

Join me as I embark on this transformative journey over the semester, striving to make a positive impact on the environment for the sake of our growing family and future generations.
