I have been working on my Eco change project on the weekends and I am making progress. I have cleared a load of blackberry bushes and leveled most of the area I need.

that's great Kyle but eco challenges are separate from your eco change. please include these pictures in your weekly reports and choose different activities for this thread ok? it's a way to try a variety of activities

I worked on my Eco challenge and got the area almost cleared for pots and raised beds. I also went kayaking this weekend with the rain. It was soo good to see 10 days of rain.

Its black tail deer season right now in south west Washington. So in my attempt to shorten my households supply chain I have been hunting for black tail deer. I have not found any this season but I did find myself in some cool Cedar
tree groves and some old mushrooms.

Kyle sometimes recycling is so complicated that many folks dont even try...looks like you could get money back for some of those? i leave my returnables out for a woman who comes by our street to pick them up. another kind of recycling!

    • For the field trip I went up the Red Bluff Rd , which is right behind my house in Stevenson Wa. I just drove up the road till I came on some cool little opening and walked through them. I saw a few grouse and the blue jays where going off. It was very nice and quiet and you could feel the wind coming off the Columbia. I went out there today after spending all morning on campus and I love coming back to the woods after being in the city all day.  As I was walking around, I thought of my day, what was one my to do list and generally just hit the reset button on my brain and was able to accomplish quite a few more tasks after coming home.
