I shared 3 goals that I added today but did recently. I am ALWAYS advocating for eating local to anyone I meet! Especially during this pandemic those restaurant owners need their community to come through so they can remain a business. The other was to visit a local farm. It wasn't Portland local but Oregon local! And it just really opened my eyes to the amount of love and passion someone really needs to have for that type of lifestyle and the appreciation for those putting themselves in the situation to better the community over themselves.

Watched "Honeyland" based on suggestions from class syllabus and it was really powerful film. It made me really emotional the way the father of the new family was with his family, animals, and the way he bullied the main character.

This weekend spent time in Joseph OR reconnecting to myself and mother nature. Walked along pastures and sat with grazing cows, went on a hike through a prairie and cooked meals in the kitchen with a new community!

the new community was the other families staying at the hotel with us, we shared an open kitchen and i ended up making a breakfast quiche and the mom of the others made bread so we all shared and chatted over food.

My choices course is going wonderfully! I've never felt so intrigued and motivated by any other college class like I am fro this one! Not to mention the group of people I get to learn side by zoom side by are all such interesting people! They continually challenge my way of thinking on how to improve the planet and daily life all while blowing my mind with how rad they all are! My instructor included!

This week I am going to challenge myself with starting to keep a journal, partially for my presentation for my Ecochange for class documenting my new worm friends but also for the impact my weekly changes have on my life! I also plan to find a new trail as it is a birthday gift to myself as well!

I had chili in the freeze I made 2 months ago! and just reheated it and didn't have to drive to the store for any new ingredients!! I tend to make larger pots of soups and chili that way i can freeze some and have it for multiple meals.

Made 3 days worth of meals using and causing zero waste. Potatoes and shallots really are good for any meal!
