Dawn Andrew 11/04/2019 9:51 AMI am trying to eat vegan all week long. No meat should be easy but I love cheese. This will be my downfall. meals prepped so good so far. :)-
Dawn Andrew 11/13/2019 9:14 AMIt was difficult. I did have some meat but very little. I noticed that I felt better without meat. My downfall is cheese. I love cheese. Eventually I will be completely meatless.

Dawn Andrew 10/24/2019 6:16 AMI noticed on the new they are coming up with another fancy apple-Cosmic Crisp. A merge between honey crisp and a tart apple. It should show up in stores this December. I"m not sure how I feel about this yet. -
Dawn Andrew 10/24/2019 6:11 AMI brought in my plants for the winter so they would not freeze and I'd have them for next year. Lemongrass is great for mosquitos and it looks fantastic. -
Dawn Andrew 10/15/2019 7:43 PMI cheated and ate a sandwich at Jimmy Johns today. I didn't take a straw or a lid and was sad to see that only water cup "free" was a stryofoam cup. I did tell them that this was toxic and not sustainable. I received a look like I was crazy. Maybe I can convince them to use paper cups instead. Anything but styrofoam.-
Dawn Andrew 10/17/2019 7:16 PMI think if the right person hears me something positive will happen. :) I never realized how many restaurants use styrofoam and this class makes me look more at whats being used and just looking at peoples habits. -
Lacy Cagle 10/17/2019 5:15 PMThanks for speaking up! It's important. Two restaurants near my house stopped using styrofoam to-go containers after I (and I suspect a couple of my friends!) kept hassling them about it. :)

Dawn Andrew 10/15/2019 7:35 PMI shopped for dinner meal planning and the prices were not that bad. I'm happy to say that I'll be eating some meat free meals for the rest of the week. Yay! between Aldi and trader Joe's prices are not as high as Dierbergs or Schnucks and I feel like the quality is better. I need to look into where Trader Joe's gets their foods. To be continued. -
Dawn Andrew 10/06/2019 10:50 AMI completed the story of stuff quiz and am in "investigator" It was an interesting short quiz to take. I posted it on FaceBook so that others will hopefully read up and take the quiz and learn what they are and how they can get involved in community projects. -
Dawn Andrew 10/06/2019 10:02 AMIt's so nice to have cooler weather but the low for this up coming Thursday is 37. This has effected our seasonal climate and is too cold for the beginning of fall.-
Michelle Parsons 10/28/2019 7:54 PMi think its time for me to move to a warmer place, lol -
Lacy Cagle 10/08/2019 11:27 AMI know! I'm getting whiplash from weather changes!

Dawn Andrew 10/03/2019 9:14 PMProcessed foods are in seemingly everything and it's difficult find things that everyone in my family will eat without all the additives. Organic leafy veggies and greens are just about the only thing I can think of without processed ingredients. The plant based diet will have to do. -
Dawn Andrew 10/03/2019 9:07 PMI reposted on Facebook for anyone who may want to donate to the ocean clean up for my birthday. I'll try and post the link in this section. Can't figure out the link and guess you would have to search for me under Dawn Andrew if you wanted to donate. No pressure. :) -
Dawn Andrew 10/03/2019 9:02 PMI had to join the spring team then switch to our class. Not sure why I have trouble but hoping this is the last of it.
