What I did for my sustainability challenge was signing petitions. The petition I sign were ones like animal abuse and sustainability of a school. Petition of a sustainability of a school  was about a school that wanted to start making their own garden and wants to produce the food themselves. This interested me because it's exactly what my school has started to do and it makes me happy knowing that my school aren't the only ones growing our own food. That other people also care about the environment and try to help. The other petition I signed was on animal abuse. This really interested me because I have always loved animals and it hurts me to see elephants being starved and lions being killed. Animals are an important part of the wild life. For example wolves played an important royal in Yellowstone. Overall the experience of signing petitions was quite interesting because of the option they give you to sign.

When first entering into the class I wasn't quite sure what I was going to be learning, but after hearing of what we would be doing and learning I hope to gain from this course is to understand more resource management so I can use that knowledge to help my neighborhood. For example, I can talk to my neighbors and suggest ways they can also help out. I would suggest  recycling, water management, and electricity control. One of the  goals I would like to reach is to learn how to design something that would help out the community. Another goal I have is being a better problem solver and hearing new ideas from other classmates to learn more. A behavior I would like to change to become more sustainable is to not ignoring the trash that is around me and pick them up. What I can contribute to the group is that I have some ideas of things we could do to help out.
