So for this one, I was going to continue the sharing economy in my complex and will keep it going when I go through my clothes and things that I might want to get rid of. It was more packed earlier with books, coffee grinders, and a lot more. Usually, people in our building leave stuff every now and then. But it has been slow these past months. The obstacles to a thing like this are running out of things to give away in the sharing economy or people not being as active in a thing like this. Here is a photo of not too long ago what it looked like.

This week I chose to do "SUPPORT A SHARING ECONOMY" in which the main goal is to share things with your friends and family and your economy just this weekend I got rid of my tv and instead of throwing it away we put it at the bottom of the stairs and put a sign with free and less then a day it was gone. I will try to keep doing this when I can because it is fun and easy.

Samuel, I enjoy this experience for you. Someone else's treasure could be someone else's trash. It was a win-win situation since you could get rid of the television for nothing while also giving someone else a new television. It sounds both satisfying and beneficial to the environment as a whole.

For this week, since we need to do something on transportation, I chose to go a simpler route and research better transportation. From what I found is that I should be glad that I live in Portland I am that our public transport is excellent compared to other major cities and that I can take the max to school but since I won't be living here when next year comes I looked up Seattle's city transportation and it's not that bad it is more walkable compared to ours. You can see it is below.

Hey Sam, I've been staying in Seattle this past weekend and have explored the public transportation system a bit. It definitely feels a little less streamlined than our transportation system in Portland, but it's still very effective. From the area that I've been staying in I can say it has also been very walkable too!

For this week and trying to foster a sense of community, I tried to meet my neighbors buts a little harder in my apartment complex because people are coming and going all the time. If you asked me 5 years ago to do this I could list them off but the ones I talked with are a man across the way and a couple who do decorations for most every holiday and I also met a lady who walks her cat.

Nice Sam. Good for you. It's hard these days to meet neighbors and people in general because it seems like everyone sticks to themselves or their own culture of people. Also, it's harder to gain people's trust lately I think, with all the chaos going on right now in the world. Speaking of cats on leashes. My daughter Madison uses harnesses with all of her cats. She treats them more like children than cats, haha. One cat in particular, Mo Mo, loves to go camping with them! Onyx, another kitty, loves to fetch little hairbands. I'll throw a hairband down the stairs and he flies over the stairs without even touching them and lands at the bottom to get it. Then he grabs the hairband and hauls butt up the stairs and drops it by me on the floor to throw again for him. He gets to going so fast that he pants like a dog, haha. He's a kitty trapped in a dog's body. (I got off on a kitty tangent).

This week I chose a more basic option for something to do: to "WATCH THE STORY OF BOTTLED WATER". This video was a small video compared to some of the documentaries we were watching. I found it weird as I reflect back on my life as a kid and when they said bottled water companies said that tap was wrong for you I remember hearing that and seeing that as a kid. I recently got myself a water Brita filter so that I can cut out water bottles out of my life and it is been good so far. I think water bottles could be good if we put them in a sustainable bottles that could be recycled into more bottles.

Hey Samuel, I also recently got a water Brita filter, but I haven't had the time to put it to use. I think they're a great way to reduce unnecessary use of plastic water bottles.

Oh my gosh, Samuel! You are a chef! You've been holding out on us. I'm sure your family is loving this class. Roasted lemon Greek potatoes sound fabulous. Thanks for the idea and the recipe! You'll have to let us know how it turns out!

Hey Samuel. I love weekly meal planning! Lemon Greek potatoes. That sounds incredibly delicious! I committed to sweet baked potatoes and asparagus to pair with apple glazed chops. I feel terrible every time I eat pork, but my mom bought a box of meats for our birthdays. Whooo!

For this week I went back to basics and that was trying to walk more I would do this whenever I found free time to do it and most of it was downtown even yesterday I walked downtown with some buddies for a bit and its enjoyable to get the fresh air and listen to the birds sometimes. I also found out after our little field trip that PCC rock creek has boxes like the one we were at for rent that is also free.

I also do walks like this, especially if I have been grinding on that homework for a minute, it feels good to unplug and take all the nature in.

This week I chose to do "BUY ONLY WHAT I NEED, I will not buy anything except items required for health and safety". I feel like I did this even though it is a little hard to prove the only things I bought this week were a refill on my trimet card and some food for when I was hungry. Also when I've been walking around my neighborhood and downtown I have started to notice different types of green architecture just in my apartment complex we have rock beds that move the water down into drains which I think is a water collection thing of some sort. I would add an image but that seems for this task specifically that I don't really have anything to post about
