Lately, I have been giving things away that I don't need to friends and goodwill, and I have also been selling some of my old things to people as well. This cuts out the need for many to buy new items, reducing everybody's environmental impacts.

Collecting data for my eco-change project! Excited to make some great changes, and currently planning some good meals.

Hey guys! I'm basing my eco-change on my diet and its footprint. I cut beef out of my diet about 4 and a half years ago, and I'd like to further reduce my diet's footprint. I was wondering what good vegan/vegetarian recipes or restaurants y'all recommend! I really appreciate and enjoy good food, so I don't want to hear 'eat a carrot and hummus for lunch'.

Last week, I went on a hike through Forest Park on Leif Erikson Drive off Germantown. I am definitely surprised how much busier it has gotten over the years, but a couple miles in and the number of people you see sharply decreases. It's nice to get away from noises and cell service sometimes. Very beautiful!

Generally, when I go to the store, I try not to use the bags provided by the store. Instead, I try to carry everything or keep everything in my shopping cart and just bring it out to my vehicle. Not only do I save 5 cents per bag, but I reduce the number of bags in a landfill. When I do need to use a bag, I usually reuse it later for other things as well.
