Has anyone explored the shampoo bars? The ad says they are good for 70 washes and are soap and shampoo in one. Their add says that using the bars could save 552 million shampoo bottles annually.

I tried them a year or so ago, and they tended to dry out my hair a bit too much. I am still searching for a shampoo product that comes in a lighter plastic bag that can be emptied into a usable refillable bottle and the packaging can be recycled. This is actually done in some foreign countries.

It sure is interesting to see where the foods at the grocery store come from. I like that some of the areas in the store are advertising when the food is from local sources.

Using smaller sized plates is making a difference at our house.
